The Epiphany of our Lord is celebrated on 6 January.

The word Epiphany means a sudden or great realization or revelation and it is celebrated as the first appearance of Christ to the Gentiles, when the Magi (Wise men) came to worship him.  In the Lutheran church, this season runs from the day of Epiphany until Ash Wednesday and includes the baptism of Jesus.

Opportunity for Service:

Juliana, (congregational member) is moving houses within Dalby and we need people to help her move.  Even if you can only spare an hour, it would be greatly appreciated Please see details below.

Moving Date: 8th Feb 2025 starting at 7am.

Moving from 17 Alice Street to 32 Sandalwood Avenue Dalby.  About 5km.

We need PLEASE:

Lots and lots of People with flat top utes, trailers, enclosed trailers, any sort of vehicle that can take goods from one place to the other, plenty of young fit people to carry furniture and goods, Fridge trolleys etc., Old blankets and packing material so stuff doesn’t get scratched etc.

Juliana is supplying lunch and drinks but it would be good to have maybe some people just turn up with smoko etc., this too would be greatly appreciated.

Please contact Juliana if you are coming on the day and have special dietary requirements.  Very Important.  I can't express enough how much we need help.

Please contact me if required.  I would appreciate numbers just for catering purposes.

Queensland Christian Convention Association: (QCCA)

Darling Downs Christian Women’s group joined QCCA last year.  DDCW are hosting their Convention on Saturday March 22nd at Christlife Presbyterian Church, 9am – 3pm (492 South St, Glenvale).  Early registration closes 24th Feb ($40), Regular registration closes 14th Mar ($48), includes morning tea and lunch.  Online registration only.  For more information please email: contact@ddcwc.org.au
