LWQ Darling Downs Rally:

LCA Story of the Week:
A new worship and ministry centre at Noosaville in Queensland may be the visible fruit of a 35-year collaboration between the co-located Lutheran church and college there, but their partnership is all about blessing people in both communities.

Child Safety Standards Webinar Saturday March 26,2022 1.30pm AEDT 12:30pm (Qld time)
The webinar will run for approx. 90 minutes from 1.30pm AEDT 12:30pm (Qld)
It will include a focus on guidelines for completing the Child Safety Self-Assessment and the Child Safety Plan, as well as tips for implementing the Child Safety Plan by local Church Councils.
Pastors, Committee Members (Pastoral Assistants, Administration, TEAM), Safe Church Coordinators, and Congregation Members who have significant involvement with children and youth (Kid Zone Leaders and Helpers, Youth Leaders), are strongly encouraged to participate.

This is an important opportunity to learn about the child safety standards and what they entail. We look forward to your participation
LYQ Winter Camps:
Winter Kids Camp is a beautiful mix of learning about God, spending time outdoors and enjoying games with friends …. lots of good clean fun and laughter! Every morning we’ll spend time in worship and learning about God and then in the afternoons we’ll take advantage of the wide-open spaces at camp to play some epic games!
Dates: 27 June – 1 July 2022
Location: Luther Heights Youth Camp, Coolum
Price: $365 for the first 30 campers, $405 standard pricing. Registrations are now open!
CLW:
CLW (Christian Life Week) is a five-day camp for high school aged campers that is centred on an unforgettable experience of faith, fun and friendship. This winter we’re offering 4 CLW camps, two in the first week and two in the second week of the school holidays. CLW is a life-changing week filled with daily worship and study time, epic wide games and life-long friends, led by an inspirational bunch of Christian leaders.
Dates: WEEK 1 - 27 June – 1 July 2022 – WEEK 2 – 4 – 8 July

Dalby Christian College - Part Time Admin Assistant:

Prayers for the Week:
· For those in authority, such as Queen Elizabeth and her representatives; Prime Minister Scott Morrison and members of parliament; Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and state parliamentarians; and Mayor Paul McVeigh and local councillors; for the nations of the world, that they may receive the blessing of peace
· For the Church, LCAQD; that it may continue to work as God's gardener in the world
· For the pastors Bishop Paul smith, District Bishop Mark Vainikka; Pastor Joel Pukallus and all pastors;
· For all who will be baptised or confirmed at Easter
· For those who hunger and thirst, that they may be satisfied
· For those who are caught in the trap of sexual immorality, that they may hear the good news and repent
· For those who are wealthy, that they may be saved from the sin of idolatry
· For those who rely on their own strength, that they may seek the grace of God, lest they stumble and fall
· For those undergoing severe suffering and trial, that they may not be tested beyond their strength
