DCC College Chaplain for 2022:

Dalby Christian College is seeking a part time Chaplain to commence in 2022. If you are interested in the position which is 20 hours per week, can you please contact the College office via email office@dalbycc.qld.edu.au


Women’s Fellowship Annual Fees:

Women’s Fellowship Annual donations (membership) is now due, $30 it also includes Lutheran Women magazine and Newsletter. For those Ladies (and some Gents) who wish to subscribe to the Lutheran Women’s magazine only, is now $14. This includes postage. These magazine will posted directly to your postal address (please supply). Please see Chris von Pein before the end of December with your payment.


LCA Story of the Week:

Celestine Rowe spent her childhood with a foster family and felt she was ‘missing a sense of belonging’. And that’s why the mum of four is thrilled that her children are growing up connected to their wider family in Central Australia. ‘The family’s the most important thing because it comes back to who we are’, she says.

Prayers for the Week:

· For those in authority, such as Queen Elizabeth and her representatives; Prime Minister Scott Morrison and members of parliament; Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and state parliamentarians; and Mayor Paul McVeigh and local councillors; that they would have the wisdom to look beyond the here and now and plan for future generations

· For the Church, LCAQD; that it may be prepared for the celebration of the birth of Christ

· For the pastors Bishop John Henderson, District Bishop Mark Vainikka; Pastor Joel Pukallus and all pastors;

· For all the baptised - that God would strengthen them in faith

· For Sunday school teachers and children preparing for the celebration of Christmas

· For schools, preparing for the last week of the year

· For those who live in fear and oppression

· For the physically handicapped

· For outcasts whom society has rejected or forgotten

· For exiles and refugees

· For those harvesting their crops
